A good photograph is knowing where to stand - Ansel Adams

Southwestern USA

The National Parks of the American Southwest are amongst the largest and most beautiful in the country. It's little surprise that the National Parks Service proudly calls them 'America's best idea.'

The variation amongst the parks is extraordinary, ranging from snow-capped peaks to the deepest canyons. Enough to keep any photographer entertained for a lifetime.

Monument Valley, Arizona (1). To step into Monument Valley for the first feels time like stepping into a Western, for it's iconic sandstone buttes have featured prominently in many. The Navajo have aptly named the valley Tsé Bii' Ndzisgaii, meaning Valley of the Rocks.
