Lighthouses
More than almost any other coastal building, a lighthouse can be virtually guaranteed to have an associated story. In some cases, it may be a tale of the dying breed of lighthouse keepers and of a struggle for survival in the face of modernisation.
Castles & Ancient Places
There is something compelling about the ancient. There's no more intriguing a challenge than to capture centuries of history in 1/50th of a second.
Landscape
First and foremost, I'd call myself a landscape photographer. Ultimately, I believe this stems from a love of the outdoors - even today, my favourite 'photographic equipment' remains my walking boots.
As much as I enjoy studio photography, it will never compare with the privilege of visiting some of these wonderful locations.
Live Music
As a landscape photographer, live music is currently a bit of an experiment for me; but who can turn down an opportunity to get into a gig for free?

Southwestern USA
The National Parks of the American Southwest are amongst the largest and most beautiful in the country. It's little surprise that the National Parks Service proudly calls them 'America's best idea.'
